Some better economic data to make you feel happier!

A lot of gloom around at present. Here is some better news from GS:

Is there any sunshine? German IP (first chart). And what about those job openings in the US (Jolt) -- second chart -- the highest number of job openings since July 2008. Manufacturing lead the gain but ALL industries (bar government) were looking to expand. Implies that there are 3.4 people vying for every new job in the US, up from 1.8 in Dec 2007.
