ANZ Jobs ads rise by 1% in March: suggest improving jobs growth

ANZ job ads rose 1.0% in March, a little stronger than we'd expected (UBSe 'down', mkt nf)...The y/y pace eased slightly to 3.2% (from 3.6%) - together still the best y/y's since September last year. Recent strong trend in the ANZ job ads series - consistent with other hiring intentions indicators such as NAB jobs and the PMI (see Chart) - continue to flag an improving jobs growth, despite the weaker trend
