Koukoulas: The case for rate cuts
Impassioned and florid as ever, the PM's former economic advisor implores a "pragmatic" RBA Governor to ignore recent inflation, and his published inflation forecasts, and to cut rates based on Koukoulas's economic activity outlook, and the presumption that inflation will fall alongside it. Good on him if he gets away with it. House prices will be the chief beneficiary.
