Big four banks eye record profits: report

From Business Spectator today:

"Australia's four largest banks will post a combined half-year profit of nearly $12 billion on the back of 2010's outsized home loan interest rate hikes, according to a report by the Australian Financial Review.

The robust first-half performance will put the banks on target to beat existing profit records for the full financial year, the report said."
