Terry McCrann claims the author thinks "‘nuance’ is a trendy village in the south of France", but can be "scintillating" when he thinks "clearly". The ACTU reckons he’s "an enigma wrapped in a Bloomberg terminal, wrapped in some apparently well-honed abs."

Gavyn Davies: China is bigger than you think

Another great FT post by Gavyn Davies. He shows the size of the Chinese economy compared to the US and Japan using market exchange rates, and using purchasing power parity, which assumes that the same service in two different economies is priced the same. It makes for interesting results...
