Sign of things to come: Media monitors hikes cost of service by +3.5% in line with CPI

Is this a sign of things to come? Quote from a Media Monitors media release a few seconds ago:

"Whilst we have worked hard to minimise any changes to your rates, the upward movement in both the CPI (Consumer Price Index) and increased production costs has necessitated a rate increase of 3.5% across all products and services with effect 1st March, 2011."
