The author has been described by News Ltd as an "iconoclast", "Svengali", a pollie's "economist muse", and "pungently accurate". Fairfax says he is a "Renaissance man" and "one of Australia’s most respected analysts." Stephen Koukoulas concludes that he is "85% right", and "would make a great Opposition leader." Terry McCrann claims the author thinks "‘nuance’ is a trendy village in the south of France", but can be "scintillating" when he thinks "clearly". CoreLogic bids for 100% of RP Data (Rismark's partner)
Rismark's most important commercial partner, RP Data, is being wholly acquired by its largest shareholder, CoreLogic, which is the No. 1 real estate data and analytics business in the world. This is a great outcome for all concerned. Together with RP Data, Rismark provides customers with Australia's most accurate house price indices and automated valuation models. Most financial institutions in Australia are a customer, one way or another. RP Data is led by an outstanding CEO, Graham Mirabito, who I have worked closely with for years. Graham will continue to lead the business. Well done to all.
