Keynes' first global macro hedge fund was a wipe-out
He had to be bailed out by his father, no less, with most of the upfront capital wiped out by currency volatility. He was more successful in the long-run. I have an economist friend who set up a similar portfolio a year ago and is up several hundred percent...It will be interesting to see what transpires.
