I enjoyed this post from Kouk. Worth a read. Interesting insights on what the government was targeting apropos interest rates. The smart political strategy was always going to be to corner the RBA into rate cuts. I have been puzzled as to why the Coalition did not see this coming, and egged lower rates along...The ALP will have a field-day on rates come the next election, as Kouk is correctly hammering home.
