Goldman Sachs on Rismark: "self-plug", if that is okay...

Goldman Sachs had some nice words to say about us in their widely read daily equities report. Introducing our analysis on dwelling price-to-income ratios, Goldman comment:

"Given all the offshore hysteria (and a few locals as well), I thought it was worth looking at what Rismark – who have been correct in their analysis over the last 3 years through the GFC & beyond - are saying re the “Aussie property bubble!"

Goldman also had some nice things to say about our hedonic house price indices in a very impressive recent research report:

“In our view, [the RP Data-Rismark Hedonic Index] is conceptually the best of the house price series available, especially considering it is based upon transactions (not settlement date), is available for rural and city areas and appears to have better turning point characteristics than other house price series…We favour using the ABS and RP Data/Rismark data series when conducting analytical work.”
