US GDP growth better than expected; market rebounds
US GDP growth came in at 1.6% (annualised for Q2) with a forecast range amongst economists of 1% to 1.5% and consensus at 1.3%. So a good result. Markets rallied while bonds sold off. Bernanke was also good value. You can read about the GDP result here.
